Review/plot:
Roger Aubrey has found a way to distinguish himself from all the other Destroyers out there (his predecessor, the Asgardian armor, Drax, etc.): Der Zertorer!

Der Zertorer attacks a German facility, tricking the Germans into shining a spotlight on it so that the allies can bomb it.

Cute.

Quality Rating: C

Historical Significance Rating: 1
Chronological Placement Considerations: This takes place during World War II, after Roger Aubrey takes on the Destroyer identity in Invaders #26.

Comments

James Fry inked by Mark Badger looks amazing.

I wonder if Dan Slott is a fan of the Destroyer. He also used the character in Midnight Sons Unlimited #9, which was published about a year after this story.
