Review/plot:
I think this is Pascual Ferry's mainstream Marvel debut (after the Marvel UK title Plasmer).

Nick Fury is transporting Wolfen, a genetically engineered cyborg created by SHIELD, when his ship is attacked by a virus. It turns out that Wolfen is the source of the virus; he's been corrupted by Hydra.

Wolfen is programmed with Nick Fury's battle experience. But he's wild, and kills the Hydra agents when things don't go well.

Fury hunts him down. But there's no fight, since it turns out that Wolfen is vulnerable to the cold.

To continue on some thoughts from previous Marvel Comics Presents entries, this is the kind of thing that is completely meaningless (aside from a nice look at early Pascual Ferry art) unless some later writer decided to do more with Wolfen. Which was not the case.

I disagree. I think throwaway stories like this are perfect for MCP. It was nice to have some direct crossovers like they did for Hands Of The Mandarin. But, I believe these stories shouldn't have much to do with the main books.
