Marvel Comics Presents #26 (Hulk)Issue(s): Marvel Comics Presents #26 (Hulk) Review/plot: As Mr. Fixit, the Hulk is sent to collect a debt owed by the owner of Marlinworld. The guy's name is Jonas Marlin, naturally. Marlin only has half the money he owes. ![]() So Marlin offers Mr. Fixit's boss a percentage of the ownership in Marlinworld, and gives Fixit a tour to see why that would be a worthy form of payment. ![]() But the demonstration doesn't go as planned when Shandu the killer whale starts eating the audience. ![]() Marlin reveals that he's actually got some hidden savings, and he agrees to turn it all over if the Hulk will get rid of Shandu. The Hulk agrees, and when he's taking Shandu out to sea, he notices an Atlantean vessel that, it turns out, was trying out a new sealife-controlling device on Shandu. ![]() Quality Rating: C+ Chronological Placement Considerations: A note in the lettercol tells us to check out the upcoming Atlantis Attacks storyline to see more of what the Atlanteans are up to. But this also has to take place before Hulk #357-359 when the Hulk is fired. There's actually nothing in this story that says it has anything to do with Atlantis Attacks, so i'm ignoring the lettercol blurb as just a promotion. I also think the guy in the command chair in the Atlantean ship is supposed to be Krang. The sound effect certainly thinks so. So i've tagged him, but i'll note that the MCP didn't.
