Review/plot:
Someone hasn't been paying their licensing fees.

And someone else isn't happy about that.

It's no contest, obviously.

And that puts the kibosh on any more copyright infringements.

Meanwhile, recent demon host Shooting Star is enjoying some attention at a county fair in Texas.

She attracts the attention of a local chauvinist sharpshooter, and has to defend her abilities to remain a role model to her little fans.

Which she does.

But then the shooter and his friends kidnap all the kids. So she has to go rescue them.

Quality Rating: C

Historical Significance Rating: 1

Chronological Placement Considerations: The MCP place this Hulk story after the one in Marvel Comics Presents #38. The Shooting Star story just has to take place after she's no longer demonically possessed, which is resolved in Solo Avengers #18.

Comments

Jose Delbo sure knows how to draw cute women. No wonder he used to handle Wonder Woman in DC.

You say this needs to go after Solo Avengers 18 but you have it in between Solo Avengers 16 and 17.

Thanks Michael.

Seems extreme at first, the idea of a guy so upset at a woman out-shooting him that he's willing to kidnap and murder kids -- but then you remember in the real world you have men sending out death threats because of women's faces on banknotes... :-(
