Review/plot:
Mr. Fantastic has been trying to figure out the Thing's DNA, but he's stuck so he goes for a walk and winds up in an arcade, where he gets the high score in a video game, impressing The Who despite the fact that he's not playing a pinball game (nor is he deaf, dumb, and blind).

Less impressed is a bully (from the Sons of Yancy Street) who is upset that Mr. Fantastic is beating the high score of the local hero, Miles.

The bully threatens to burn the pad where Reed has been writing notes about the Thing while he walked around.

During the scuffle with the bully, one of the arcade machines gets smashed open, revealing packages of cocaine. So the drug smugglers that own the building come out and start shooting things up.

In the resulting fight, Reed's notepad gets destroyed. But Miles, who has a photographic memory, has memorized Reed's notes. And he gives the info back to Reed, and includes a critical correction. In return, Mr. Fantastic offers to give him a recommendation so that he can go to a university. But first they go to another arcade to play more video games.

Comments

There should be more bizarre shots of Reed stretching his face in comics.
