Review/plot:
This Hulk story is really a Tony Salmons vehicle. Whether you think that's a good thing or not is a matter of preference.

As the title says, this is a day in the life of the Hulk. He starts things off by drinking some water that turns out to be poisoned by radiation. Then, "uncounted hours later", he wakes up and stops some hunters from killing deer.

Then he tries to stop two rams from fighting each other, but is too late.

Then he finds some non-contaminated water, and nearly eats a fish but realizes that it would be just like killing the deer (told you he was a vegetarian).

Then he gets into a fight with a bear agitated by a fire that was caused when the hunters the Hulk chased away dropped a cigarette.

Then he falls into a tar pit and is rescued by some humans.

In the end, the Hulk takes a lesson from all of this that not everything is black and white. If this weren't an inventory back-up feature in Marvel Fanfare, this all might have been a nice growth moment for him, but of course this will never be referenced again.

Personally, i do like Tony Salmons' weird art, but i definitely can't see it working outside of a quirky story like this.

Quality Rating: C

Historical Significance Rating: 1

Chronological Placement Considerations: Since this is dumb Hulk, it has to be pushed back earlier than publication time. The MCP place this between Hulk #265-266. The main story in this issue was part of the Sky-Wolves two-parter, covered in a separate entry.
