Review/plot:
A Mideast Libertarian Army terrorist dresses himself like an Arab and catches a cab to the United Nations building. His cabbie is Jake Lockley, aka Moon Knight.

Lockley notices that his fare reacts oddly to light.

After dropping him off, Lockley goes to Gena's diner, and hears on the television about the bomb situation at the UN. So he rushes back to the UN, enters the room, and flicks the light switch on and off. And that causes the guy to pass out.

On his way home, Lockley engages in some racial profiling.

There isn't any room devoted to delving into the Mideast Libertarian Army guy's politics or origins, but i guess since he's a white guy dressing up as an Arab we should assume that the Mideast in question is, like, the middle eastern part of the US? Like, he's from a libertarian militia group from Kentucky or something?

I don't know. All i know is i turned to the last page of the story and on the opposing page, where the pin-ups start, i saw this, and was like, now that's more like it:

Here's another pin-up from the Bob Layton gallery in the back of this book:

Quality Rating: C

Historical Significance Rating: 1

Chronological Placement Considerations: Gena Landers is still working at her diner. The MCP places this between Moon Knight #38-39. The Hawkeye main feature takes place later in publication time and gets a separate entry.

Maybe this was a false flag operation? It seems like something got lost in the script.
Hey, no fair- you did Marvel Fanfare 39 before Marvel Fanfare 38, even though both stories in Marvel Fanfare 38 take place before Fall of the Mutants.

I'll get there eventually! I wanted to get to the WCA issues that tie in with FF #313-317 so that in turn i can start on Nick Fury vs. Shield, so i gave Hawkeye's solo appearances a priority and this Moon Knight back-up got covered incidentally.

If it was a false flag operation, you'd think he'd stay in costume at the UN building, but who knows...

Can you show all the pinups?

Well, i don't want to turn this site into a quasi-Pirate Bay, but there was one more image i had already scanned and was on the fence about putting up so i've added it. It's the Galactus image and whenever i first look at it i think Galactus has this big white cartoon grin and then i realize it's just a very shiny lower lip.

Thank you for adding the image. I hope I didn't sound to demanding. You really do a great job on this site.

No problem, doomsday. And thanks.
