Review/plot:
Al Milgrom's Editori-Al describes this as a deliberate homage of Simon & Kirby's 1950s romance comics. Here's the back cover of this issue.

But the issue is at least as much about addressing the fact that, as Patsy Walker, her life was depicted in comic books. Her aunt is now her business manager, and they haven't been getting along since Patsy started hanging out with super-heroes (it's ruining her brand!). So Patsy goes home with her husband Daimon Hellstrom to bury the hatchet. She isn't really welcomed in her home town of Centerville, even by her former friends Hedy Wolfe and Nan Hale.

But eventually Daimon negotiates a truce.

There's still action, so to speak, in the story...

...but it's the romance homage that makes the story a little more fun.

Comments

Patsy and Hedy fighting was a staple of "Patsy Walker" when it was a teen humour feature.
