Marvel Premiere #31Issue(s): Marvel Premiere #31 Review/plot: He's subsequently attacked by soldiers. Woodgod has not fully developed mentally, and he runs around like a mentally ill person trying to figure out what's going on. The story isn't really resolved; he's just left wandering this poisoned, dead town. Woodgod is a bizarre character that persisted only via Bill Mantlo's force of will, appearing unbidden in a few random comics written by Mantlo before fading into obscurity. The art in this issue isn't that great. Klaus Janson does not compliment early Keith Giffen.
