Review/plot:
If you're going to be awful, at least be hilariously awful like this story.

This is the story about a boy whose father has recently died while fighting drug dealers as a police officer. But more importantly it's the story of a boy living in a house that does nothing but incessantly repeat anti-drug slogans.

He goes to the bathroom and sees a hypodermic needle...

...and has a freakout.

All while the television continues to burble out its message.

He winds up going to Matt Murdock's free legal clinic. And Matt takes him home to investigate, where it turns out that his mom is a diabetic.

C'mon. Just admit that's the greatest most horrible story you've ever read.

Quality Rating: D+

Historical Significance Rating: 1

Chronological Placement Considerations: This takes place while Daredevil is still operating his free clinic. The MCP place it between Daredevil #259-260. For the other the stories in this issue, see the main entry here, and that will also link to a few other stories that have been split out.

Brilliant. I think the lesson here is that we all need to communicate better to prevent misunderstandings from happening. Well done, Terry Kavanagh. :P
