Review/plot:
Ok, some interesting art at least.

The story has a rival criminal organization kidnapping the Kingpin's personal physician and planting a bomb in him.

A janitor overhears and goes to Matt Murdock's free legal clinic. Matt debates whether or not he wants to do anything about it but ultimately decides that he can't let the doctor's innocent wife and kid die, at least. So he fights his way to the Kingpin's building and throws the doctor out the window before he explodes. The Kingpin realizes what happened, but lets the doctor's kid think that Daredevil killed his dad.

It's funny how Matt Murdock's free legal clinic served as a story engine for these... things better than they did for Daredevil's actual comic.

Quality Rating: C-

Historical Significance Rating: 1

Chronological Placement Considerations: Takes place while Matt Murdock was still operating his free legal clinic. I've placed this in the same gap in Daredevil's chronology as the story from Marvel Super Heroes #2.

Instead of pointing to every other story from this issue, let me just point here. The Considerations on that entry will link to the others.

Comments

'Sheer Heart Attack' was a 1974 album and a 1977 song by Queen, of course.
Also, a bit strange to refer to Kingpin 'smelling like a rose', given his son was the Rose!
