Review/plot:
Wonder Man is working as a stunt actor, filming a Western, when the police show up to say that two boys have gone missing in the nearby wilderness. Wonder Man volunteers to find them.

He finds the boys being attacked by the biggest bear in existence.

Wonder Man knocks the bear off the cliff, killing it. He then has to walk the kids home since he doesn't have his jetpack. He later defends them from a killer snake.

Giant bears and leaping snakes. It feels more like they're trapped in a bad video game than out in the wilderness.

The art in this story is atrocious.

Chronological Placement Considerations: A conceptual drawing on the splash page shows Wonder Man in his hideous green and red costume (he doesn't wear a costume in the actual story).

Based on that, i've placed this soon after West Coast Avengers #12-13, when he got that costume. If you wanted to ignore that conceptual image, i guess you could place this at publication date.
