Review/plot:
Spider-Man and the Falcon team-up to defeat the Plantman, who has poisoned Captain America.

Of course first there is the prerequisite Misunderstanding Fight, which is especially poorly set up this issue, making Falcon look extremely belligerent.

At the end of this issue, it looks like Nick Fury has planted a tracer of some kind on Spider-Man's back.

The MCP lists Porcupine as appearing in this story, but i didn't see him.

Nothing wrong with this issue, but it's definitely a step back from the Claremont/Byrne issues.

Quality Rating: C

Historical Significance Rating: 1

Chronological Placement Considerations: The MCP places this between Amazing Spider-Man #180-182 and Captain America #221-222.

Comments

Maybe the Falcon is still ticked off about Captain America #138?
