Review/plot:
This is a fun story featuring Wolverine and Hercules getting into a bar fight. And that's basically it. Good characterization and funny dialogue.

Chronological Placement Considerations: The opening panel has Wolverine thinking "If I'd stuck around [in Westchester], I'd probably'a had it out with Cyclops. We're gonna tangle, and soon. It's bad enough that a wimp like him is making time with Jeannie, a woman who oughtta be mine, without having to put up with him as a leader, too." MCP places this after Uncanny X-Men #110.

My Reprint: Incredible Hulk and Wolverine #1

This story(and the Angel solo story that appeared in another Treasury) was first printed in the U.K. in Marvel Comic #335.

I had the Hulk Treasury Edition that this was first printed in the US. I always liked this story and it bugged me that I couldn't file it with my X-Men books because of the size. (Now it's in my Uncanny X-Men Omnibus #2.) I never realized until just now that Perez is credited as the inker of this story, not the penciller. It looks so much like Perez I have to wonder if Perez did the rough layouts, or if the credits got switched, or something. If Landgraf was consciously aping Perez's style, he should have stuck with it, because all the other art of his I can find on Google is pretty terrible.
