Marvel Two-In-One #15Issue(s): Marvel Two-In-One #15 Review/plot: As you can see, Morbius shows up to drink Alicia Masters' blood, interrupting her work on the delicious cheese sculpture of her boyfriend. The Thing shows up in time to drive him off, although a lot of Alicia's equipment and sculptures get destroyed in the fight. Meanwhile, the Living Eraser returns to Earth. Morbius at this point is really hungry, so he doesn't even care if his next victim has green skin and is wearing body armor. But the Thing follows Morbius, and the two of them wind up getting "erased". Getting erased really means getting sent to the Eraser's home dimension, where they learn that the Eraser has been working to overthrow the local ruler. Morbius develops a crush on the king's daughter. Back on Earth, the Living Eraser demonstrates that he doesn't really have much of a plan here. Cause some trouble on Earth. The Thing and Morbius return to Earth and stop the Living Eraser. Morbius tries to eat him again, but the Thing stops him... ...and Morbius is embarrassed in front of his new love interest, who is not Jarella.. Quality Rating: C- Chronological Placement Considerations: The Thing appears here between FF #165-166. Morbius remains isolated in another dimension beginning this issue and not returning to Earth until Peter Parker, the Spectacular Spider-Man #6-7, so he shouldn't appear in other books (notably Marvel Premiere #28 and Marvel Preview #8) in between. Posted by: Mark Drummond | June 29, 2013 4:16 PM The Essential b&w reprint of this story reveals that the piece of paper Morbius is standing over in the 2nd-to-last scan says "Patterson" around the edges, so now I wonder if Bruce Patterson had uncredited inks in this. Posted by: Mark Drummond | February 13, 2016 4:47 PM It's always very difficult for me to feel much compassion for Morbius the Living Vampire. Is that wrong? Here, for instance, I was really hoping to see the Thing mercilessly beat the stuffings out of Morbius. Does that make me a bad person?
