Review/plot:
Shang Chi defends an old man named Moon Sun from a group of mystical ninjas that are intent on destroying his circus, which consists of exhibits of live satyr, mermaid, centaur, and other mystical creatures.

    

The story reaches a deliberately unsatisfying conclusion. Shang-Chi protects Moon Sun's circus freaks from ninjas.

Each fantastical creature gives a different explanation as to why they are being pursued. Then, the leader of the ninjas, a spider-like man named Darkstrider attacks.

It will turn out that Moon Sun is Darkstrider. During the fight, the fantastical freaks turn into the ninjas, and then they all go away, leaving Shang-Chi alone. Bizarre.

Chronological Placement Considerations: These two issues were originally supposed to be part of the next Giant-Size Master of Kung Fu, but that series was canceled so the story was split into two issues of the regular series.
