Master of Kung Fu #46Issue(s): Master of Kung Fu #46 Review/plot: ...and joins back up with Leiko and Shang-Chi. Reston is subsequently captured again and brainwashed by Suee. Suee wants to capture Leiko alive because she has knowledge of Fu Manchu's plans. Shang-Chi defeats Suee's sumo wrestler... ...and they disguise themselves as Suee's agents and follow her aboard her helicopter. Reston is later found by Griswold's agents, who don't believe that their boss is really Suee's agent Tarrant. The entire issue is told in flashback from Reston's perspective, trying to convince MI-6 agents that he's not a double-agent working for Suee. They eventually believe him. It's nice to see that they're still using non-linear storytelling despite complaints that lead to a promise in the lettercol for issue #45 that they'd be using a straightforward approach. Fu Manchu harvests a giant pearl from the giant oyster he previously acquired. He shatters the pearl and gets the skull of one of his ancestors. Quality Rating: B- Chronological Placement Considerations: Since it's told from a flashback perspective, it's ok to have it a little while after the previous issues even though the story is a direct continuation. But i am pushing this back in publication time a bit to make room for Shang-Chi's appearance in Marvel Two-In-One #29. References: N/A Crossover: N/A Continuity Insert? N My Reprint: N/A
