Review/plot:
This issue is largely a flashback as Marionette tells the secret she mentioned last issue. We learn that she had a dancer friend when she was a princess...

...and when Marionette lost her legs as part of a misguided scheme of a suitor who was aided by Baron Karza...

...Karza replaced Marionette's legs with the dancers'.

Marionette believes this is why her legs are not working now (the immediate cause was the Enigma Force's attack a few issues back).

It's interesting to remember that Mantlo's original inspiration for the Body Banks was the fact that the Micronauts toys had interchangeable parts. A lot of mileage came out of that concept.

Quality Rating: B-

Historical Significance Rating: 1

Chronological Placement Considerations: Enough time has passed for the Micronauts to change their location before Marionette tells her story.
