The denizens of the planet Confluence, where everyone is staying, are sympathetic but unable to help, other than assigning some "Death Watch" minions to guard the room. ![]() In a strange turn of events, however, the radioactive egg that Huntarr brought back to power the Micronaut's ship hatches... ![]() ...and the creature inside tracks down the dying Micronauts, faces off against Huntarr... ![]() ...and causes him to mutate further... ![]() ![]() ...and emit a fluid that rebuilds everyone from scratch... ![]() ![]() ...even to the point of healing Commander Rann's missing hand. I thought this was going to result in the death of Huntarr, since he was kind of angsty earlier... ![]() ...but he turns out fine too. It's left a deliberate mystery if Huntarr's mutation was deliberately triggered by the hatchling or an accident. Weird stuff.
