Review/plot:
This issue features a guest appearance by the Six Pack. I mean there's only four of them at this point (the three here plus Hammer) but still.

Nomad and the Six Pack have been hired by different people to retrieve a prototype radio frequency scrambler. Nomad has been hired by a scientist who doesn't trust the government with the technology anymore. We don't learn yet who the Six Pack are working for. Nomad and the Six Pack get into a fight at the NASA facility where the item is being kept. Well, not really a fight. Nomad manages to create a distraction and get away.

The Six Pack then go and research Nomad and find out what they're up against, and then they approach him. This time they do get into a fight.

But it turns out that the Six Pack is working for SHIELD. So that gets Nomad to question his employer. And it turns out that she's really working for a Cuban crime gang. So they work together to stop her. Nick Fury then shows up to retrieve the prototype, but Nomad destroys it.

The end.

Also in this issue, Giscard Epurer has kidnapped Bucky to force Bucky's mom to work for him.

Senator Bart Ingrid is still at Nomad's sister's house.

This is Rick Mays' last issue. I found his art to be oddly endearing. And this was a fun story.

Chronological Placement Considerations: This should probably take place before Domino joins Cable in X-Force #29-30. It's said to have been "six weeks since all that crud with Faustus".
