Nova #6Issue(s): Nova #6 Review/plot: Nova is in an alternate future where he's failed the now-mutated locals. ![]() He was also a member of the Avengers. He meets the version of himself from this reality. As with Night Thrasher, Rage is dealing with a slavery scenario. This time we are in Africa with people being pressed into slavery. ![]() The "twist" is that the people were sold into slavery by their own people. ![]() Fabian Nicieza has done a lot of Both Sidesism in his treatment of race issues, but i never thought he'd Both Sides slavery. Yes, it's a historical fact that some slaves were sold by other Africans, but Jesus Christ. (If anyone is really confused about this, you might start here; i really don't want to see it debated on this site. At a minimum, take it to the forum.) Firestar is at the Salem Witch Trials in 1692. People try to burn her as a witch, but she's Firestar so that doesn't work out. ![]() She's then rescued by Agatha Harkness, who in turn wants help from her. ![]() ![]() In a short segment at the end, Hindsight Lad suggests to Chord and Sprocket that they recruit the characters that Night Thrasher was considering as a B-Team. ![]() Quality Rating: D Chronological Placement Considerations: This is part three of Time and Time Again. Part four is in New Warriors #48. References:
