Title: "The mountain comes to Manhattan"
Credits:
Mary Jo Duffy - Writer
Kerry Gammill - Penciler
D. Hands - Inker

Review/plot:
Another appearance of 'D. Hands' on inks.

Luke Cage accidentally winds up with a high tech EMP device hidden in a quarter and he and Iron Fist spend the issue facing down an interesting mercenary named Montenegro.

As usual, a decent, well told story, with lots of fun bits.

Like a lot of issues in this time period, this one has a good, funny cover (despite the coloring error).

Comments

The story's title comes from the line in an essay by Francis Bacon: "If the mountain will not come to Muhammad, then Muhammad will come to the mountain". In addition, Montenegro is, as least to my mind, a somewhat underdeveloped character. The name suggests a European origin, and the mountaineering angle is pretty cool. Also, given his nimble nature despite being drawn like an NFL offensive lineman, he surely would merit a "so big, so fast" reference.
