Review/plot:
No frills for the Punisher's 50th issue. Ok, it's "giant-sized" and it cost $1.50. But there are no guest stars, no crossovers, no culmination of a giant battle against the Kingpin. It's just the Punisher going up against a crazy guy who lives in a bio-dome and is armed with a yo-yo.

We also get a still-alive severed head. Or maybe the rest of the body is under that machinery. Either way, this is supposed to be the cryogenic unit but the guy doesn't look frozen.

And there is also a scene in the beginning with Punisher going to confession. I had just read an issue of She-Hulk prior to opening this book, so i was still in the mindset for satire and it didn't help that the idea of Punisher going to confession sure seems satirical (even though we've seen it before). And we do sort of get a punchline with the idea that Punisher should just say some Hail Marys.

There is also a back-up story that features a prisoner bragging that he survived a run-in with the Punisher. Except he embellishes his story and another prisoner that knows the facts calls him out on it.

In the embellished version, we get a preview of Punisher 2099.
