Punisher #76Issue(s): Punisher #76 Review/plot: Punisher has actually been in Hawaii before, but there's no connection with that story. He's hunting a crimelord named Uncle Jerry, who has connections to the Yakuza. ![]() The Punisher is unknowingly helped by a rival crime family, a mother and daughter team. They pose as the Hawaiian god Pele (who has young and old forms), and in fact half-convince the Punisher that he's Kamapua'a, Pele's lover. ![]() The MCP actually treat this as an actual appearance of Pele (who does appear in a couple of future issues) but it's pretty clear from this story that the Pele here is just part of their scam. ![]() Quality Rating: C Chronological Placement Considerations: N/A References:

CommentsLarry Stroman's style is unsuited to Punisher IMO. Posted by: Grom | September 22, 2016 11:07 PM True, that scene with him shooting the dude in the back looks like it's from What The-?! Posted by: cullen | September 23, 2016 2:54 AM Comments are now closed. |
