Punisher War Journal #44

Issue(s): Punisher War Journal #44
Cover Date: Jul 92
Title: "Barbarians"
Credits:
Chuck Dixon - Writer
Val Mayerik - Penciler
Fred Fredericks - Inker
Don Daley - Editor

Review/plot:
When it comes down to it, you can't really trust the Punisher.

It turns out that guy was a child pornographer, so maybe you can trust the Punisher if you're just a regular petty criminal.

The rest of the issue is the Punisher stopping a home invasion at a mansion. The babysitter reminded me a little of Julie Power, and i was going to say that that was because Val Mayerik drew Power Pack for a while, but it turns out Mayerik only drew one issue of Power Pack.

Anyway, Julie would have been smarter than this.

That all happens in direct sequence. She makes it to the attic.

But Punisher manages to save her and the baby and shoot everyone that needs shooting. He also learns that the robbery was arranged by the owner of the mansion in a plot for the insurance money, so the next day he goes and kills that guy too.
