Review/plot:
I guess every Ghost Rider related book deserves its own glow-in-the-dark cover.

Ghost Ridr, Johnny Blaze, and the surviving members of the Quentin Carnival return to the carnival site to recover the bodies of their fallen comrades.

But they find that the site has been taken over by the military. They manage to give the bodies an impromptu cremation to prevent the military from dissecting them. They then head to the deceased Eli McIntyre's home in the mountains, seeking information about the letter that Eli gave Blaze, along with a key that matches the medallion on Ghost Rider's bike.

But Vengeance is pursuing them. He has to contend with the military too, but he catches up to Ghost Rider and Blaze outside of Eli's house.

The Ghost Rider and Blaze are unable to stop Vengeance, but Vengeance suddenly gets caught in a portal.

The portal was created by Eli's son, Quinn.

Quinn is aware of his father's death and has been expecting Ghost Rider and Blaze. He directs Blaze to a secret room, with a box unlocked by Blaze's key. The box generates a projection of Eli's head, which says that he's left some gifts for them. We don't yet see what's in the box.

More mysteries and inconclusive fights.

Quality Rating: C

Historical Significance Rating: 2 - first Quinn McIntyre

Chronological Placement Considerations: Last issue, #11, is a fill-in. This issue seems to follow from Ghost Rider #39, with the group going to "the mountains" where Eli lives, and with Vengeance seemingly hot on their heels. I'm therefore placing this soon after Ghost Rider #39, far back in publication time, and prior to Spirits of Vengeance #11.
