Review/plot:
Alright, the wrap up. Spider-Man makes it out of the sewer and hands Hobgoblin over to the Vault Guardsman that are in the area trying to re-capture Venom.

Meanwhile, the big idea is that the demons, the Deathspawn, have been trying to revive Deathwatch. But the heroes stop them. Venom is recaptured by the Guardsmen.

Demogoblin is also captured by the Guardsmen (off panel). And Ghost Rider has Hag, Troll, and Deathwatch but he says he's going to bring them to Dr. Strange instead of turning them over to the Vault guards.

I love that the Guardsmen are ok with that. Maybe Spidey flashed his Avengers ID card.

It's not said what happened to the Doppelganger. The last we saw he got accidentally zapped by magic by Demogoblin in the previous part of this crossover.

One thing i haven't mentioned is that there is something going on with Blaze's circus cast during the Spirits of Vengeance issues of this crossover. It's basically the thing where a psychic (Clara Menninger, in this case) screams a lot and talks about the upcoming big bad something. We do meet a few more members of the carnival - Kody, Timothy Woods, and Timothy's mom Miranda - but we don't learn enough to merit talking about them yet.

Here's Spider-Man with a shotgun.

Don't worry: That's Blaze's magical gun, which Spidey can't get to work, and Spidey says that he "was never good with guns" anyway.

Quality Rating: C

Historical Significance Rating: 1

Chronological Placement Considerations: This is the fourth and final part of the Spirits of Venom crossover. Next issue continues directly, with Hag, Troll, and Deathwatch still prisoners of Ghost Rider.
