Title: "The Terrible Trio"

Review/plot:
The three super-villains that Dr. Doom created in Fantastic Four #23 break out of jail. They give the Human Torch a hard time and they talk about how proud Dr. Doom would be of them, but then the Thing shows up and mops the floor with them.

I've talked these guys up in the past. I mean, they've got a lot going for them. Levitation...

...asbestos rope...

...super-strength...

...and, well, listening...

..but i have to admit there's a lot of whining going on once the Thing shows up.

Comments

DC also had a Terrible Trio in the early Silver Age; they made these guys look like master villains.

i don't feel good about a person with such an unstable temperament that they incinerate a golf ball because they missed a putt having fire powers.

I don't know about DC's Terrible Trio being worse. I've always thought they were better characters but as I said before not by much.
