Review/plot:
The original title of the Amazing Adventures story was "Dr. Droom meets Zemu!". Zemu has been changed to Zamu (to avoid confusion with Xemu, perhaps?) and of course Dr. Droom is now Dr. Druid.

A magician named Zamu decides to run for governor and his chances look good.

Dr. Druid is suspicious because he detects no magical aura in Zamu's tricks...

...so he checks things out and discovers that Zamu is really a tomato-headed alien from planet R'Zahn.

Druid hypnotizes him and the police arrest him.

The proof of the existence of aliens via the near defeat of an alien invasion apparently does not send the world into a mass panic.

Other Weird Tales from this issue include a man who accidentally time travels into the 16th century where he's locked up as a madman, and uses the modern miracle of a fountain pen to escape...

...a Steve Ditko ghost story taking place in a wax museum...

...and cute story about villager who can't get any respect even with the help of a leprechaun's wishes, so he locks himself and the leprechaun in a cave.

"The proof of the existence of aliens via the near defeat of an alien invasion apparently does not send the world into a mass panic."

To be fair, by this point the Earth of the Marvel universe has been host to at least a few alien invasions, multiple blatant monster attacks, invasions by Atlantis... they're probably pretty blase about tomato-headed alien invasion plans let by a stage magician.

BUT GOD HELP HIM IF HE'D BEEN A MUTANT!
