Super-Villain Team-Up #8Issue(s): Super-Villain Team-Up #8 Review/plot: Meanwhile the Sub-Mariner and the Shroud get chased by a Latverian mob. They take refuge at a traveling circus, which of course is run by the Ringmaster. The Shroud looks ridiculous wearing a muscleman shirt and a hat that provides just the right amount of shading over his eyes at all times. In the circus' final performance before leaving the country, "Doom" shows up. Namor, who is only with Shroud because he thought Doom was dead, goes to return to "Doom" because of his vows, but Shroud attacks him from behind, leading "Doom" to wonder what the hell's going on. We'll learn next issue that this "Doom" isn't a Doombot, it's Prince Rudolfo, disguised as a Doombot. Keith Giffen does fill-in art for this issue. Some of the faces look a little stiff and awkward but otherwise it looks professional. Quality Rating: C- Chronological Placement Considerations: This issue ends on a cliffhanger, but issue #9 is also a crossover with Avengers #154, so i've placed the Avengers issue in between Super-Villain Team-Up #8 and 9. CommentsMany copies of this suffered a bizarre coloring mishap on the front page, turning Tamara dark purple.
