Review/plot:
Cap remembers a couple of World War II adventures where he worked with a French Resistance fighter (an unnamed Peggy Carter).

In the end they were separated but she promised to wait for him. However, she developed amnesia after an explosion.

Cap is terribly depressed over the whole thing, especially since recently seeing Sharon Carter reminded him of it all (as shown in Sharon's first appearance in the previous arc).

Cap and Peggy were said to only have been together for a matter of "weeks" but that's probably a really long time in a war.

Comments

When you are in a situation where you might die at any time, you either form connections with people very quickly or you shut ever one out.

Even if she's unnamed, wouldn't this merit inclusion in your list of Peggy's appearances, or do you consider that too much of a retcon?

She only appears in the flashback. I only tag characters that appear in the present day portions of a story.

Ah! Fair enough. My apologies.

A nice story
