Uncanny X-Men #318Issue(s): Uncanny X-Men #318 Review/plot: I know this opening scene is supposed to illustrate humanity's intolerance of mutants, but i couldn't help thinking that the reason these workers say they haven't seen a mutant before is because Professor X has probably mind-wiped them a dozen times over. As usual with Lobdell's downtime issues, it's a nice read with some good interactions and fun stuff. Skin decides to leave, but a conversation with the Beast convinces him to return. The other Generation Xers go shopping. Jubilee tells Archangel to stop being such a mope. There's also a scene with Iceman going to the White Queen to learn how she used his powers the way she did. Less interesting is the stuff about the tragedy or whatever of Jean and Scott going to the future to raise Cable and then having to leave him or whatever, but i think it's impossible for me to care about anything related to them at this point. Quality Rating: B- Chronological Placement Considerations: Takes place before Generation X #1. References:

Posted by: Lecen | March 22, 2018 6:35 AM Lecen, i'm just tired of Scott and Jean's drama, going back to the X-Factor days. Here we are after all the Madelyne stuff has been swept away, after they're married, and after they were able to go back in time and raise "their" son, and they're still finding things to be depressed about.
