Warlock #1-2Issue(s): Warlock #1, Warlock #2 Review/plot: Warlock is still playing Jesus to the High Evolutionary's God, praying to HE to not destroy the world because he thinks he can redeem it. ![]() ![]() The Man-Beast plays the devil. It's all set up fairly well from an allegorical point of view, even if it's a bit obvious... ![]() ...but there's no escaping the fact that it's ultimately super-hero fights between Warlock and the Ani-Men. ![]() ![]() ![]() The High Evolutionary makes Counter-Earth invisible to detection from True-Earth (as it's called throughout the series) at the beginning of issue #1. ![]() Quality Rating: C Chronological Placement Considerations: Warlock appears briefly in Hulk #158, and that's referenced in Warlock #3.
