Warlock and the Infinity Watch #22Issue(s): Warlock and the Infinity Watch #22 Review/plot: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It also becomes clear that the Senator Munson from last time is not what he appears to be. ![]() The issue ends with the most gruesome depiction of the exploding suns, making it much more clear what the implications are than most other books. ![]() The Mole Man's confrontation is fun. The Moleoids in the army uniforms are adorable. To me, this issue is proof that the weight of the Infinity crossovers was holding Starlin down. This book can be a lot of fun when it's just trying to justify its existence as a tie-in. As i've said before, i wish that Starlin could have just done mini versions of the Infinity stories in this book. I suspect that without all the bloat, they could have been a lot better. Quality Rating: B+ Chronological Placement Considerations: This takes place while Adam Warlock is confronting the Goddess' psyche, as seen in Warlock Chronicles #5... ![]() ...and it ends with the nova blast from the end of Infinity Crusade #5. If I ever come back to read the early cosmic stories I'll have to make sure I don't skip this particular issue. Posted by: Greg T | December 8, 2016 7:06 PM Comments are now closed. |
