X-Men #57Issue(s): X-Men #57 Review/plot: There's a lot of posturing and yelling from the other X-Men... ...but Xavier goes willingly. The irony that Magneto ("Joseph") is allowed to go free while Xavier is arrested is pointed out, but Cooper didn't know that Joseph was with the X-Men. Also in this issue, Beast patches things up with Trish Tilby. Angel seems to have flown the coop. And Bastion tries to intimidate J. Jonah Jameson but it doesn't work. Quality Rating: C Chronological Placement Considerations: J. Jonah Jameson thinks to itself that it's been "a week ago now... two?" since he saw Storm and Cannonball flying past to deal with "Sentinels en route to New York". Not sure if that's a specific reference but it gives us a timeframe for the start of Onslaught crossover. The return of Angel's wings happens at the beginning of Uncanny X-Men #338. References:
