X-Men #58Issue(s): X-Men #58 Review/plot: Rogue shuts it down. Weird cartoony art by guest artist Bernard Chang. Also in this issue, Storm goes into the sewers to acknowledge the anniversary of the Mutant Massacre (which she calls, probably more correctly, the Morlock Massacre). She's still feeling guilty about it, so whatever happened in the Storm series didn't resolve that. She's surprised to find Gambit paying his respects as well, and he's a bit shifty about why he'd be doing that. Iceman has infiltrated Graydon Creed's campaign. His dad is in the audience at one of the campaign stops, and Iceman is surprised to find that his dad is defending mutant rights. And intrepid reporter J. Jonah Jameson (!) is digging up dirt on Creed. This has attracted the attention of Evil Havok. Quality Rating: C- Chronological Placement Considerations: The Havok plot continues in Uncanny X-Men #339. References:
