The Marvel Universe continues to solidify, almost entirely under the scripting of Stan Lee, with very little variety in artists as well (Kirby, Heck, Ditko). Ditko and Kirby begin to get credit for plotting (which they may have deserved all along) and Stan begins to get billing as "Editor" in addition to scripts. There is a slight increase in multi-part stories, mainly in the FF. There is also the anomaly of the huge Dr. Strange epic in Strange Tales #130-144. For a little while, Marvel places a "Pop Art Productions" logo on their covers, an indication that the company was trying to find a space for itself beyond the world of kiddie comics. The logo was an attempt to associate Marvel with the work of Roy Lichtenstein and similar things in the modern art world.	Creator notes: In addition to Kirby/Heck/Ditko, we've got Wally Wood on a few issues of Daredevil, and also doing some inking. Chic Stone does a lot of inking, but Vincent Colletta, Dick Ayers, and Mike Esposito are around as well.
	Notable events: Significant events this year include the death of Baron Zemo I, the first major change in the Avenger's line-up, Peter Parker's high school graduation, the wedding of Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Girl, the discovery of the Savage Land, the formation of the Frightful Four, and the discovery of the Inhumans.
	New characters: Leader, Scorpion, Mr. Fear, Count Nefaria and the "Maggia", Dragon Man, Mentallo, Fixer, Princess Python, Kazar and Zabu, Stranger, Juggernaut, Swordsman, Molten Man, Power Man (Eric Josten), Sentinels, Medusa, Gorgon, Crystal, Triton, Karnak, Black Bolt, and Maximus.
