What's Missing 1994As noted in this thread, i'll be skipping a number of books while going through each year. The books that i've skipped will be listed here in addition to on the main What's Missing page. The listings here may include issues from 1995 when it seems like they continue from a story that began in 1994. I will also list issues that were published in 1994 but which would have been treated as pushbacks. I won't be listing continuity inserts. Adventures of Cyclops and Phoenix #1-4 CommentsI believe you want to list X-Men annual #3 instead of #2 Annual #3 is that boring issue focused on the new Inner Circle formed by Shinobi Shaw Posted by: Bibs | April 27, 2018 6:31 AM Thanks Bibs. Posted by: fnord12 | April 27, 2018 12:12 PM Congrats on finishing a very tough year! FWIW: X-Men 31-32 revisit and attempt to make sense of the Revanche continuity fumble, Nicieza having finally actually read the Lady Mandarin issues of Uncanny. Perhaps insignificant in the long term since Revanche is shortly dispatched by the Legacy Virus but this story might be more interesting for your project than those other issues of the title (which are all one-off throwaways with villains at or beneath the New Villain Annual level). X-Men Unlimited #4 became Usenet-famous as epitomizing everything wrong with Marvel storytelling and character motivation at this point (though it's surely not as bad as some of the d-list stuff you've already covered). More importantly though, it revisits Rogue and Nightcrawler's backstories and the very longstanding Nightcrawler/Mystique dangler from that Arcade story circa the first JRJr run. I can't believe I actually bought that "wedding album" at the time. Yikes. Posted by: doctorcasino | April 27, 2018 3:30 PM Not the first time Fabian screwed up. Witness how he didn't bother reading Alpha Flight #12. Posted by: Vincent Valenti | April 27, 2018 6:19 PM Congratulations on battling your way through this odd and mostly awful year of stuff, and thank you for your always-delightful commentary! It WILL get better again. Eventually, much better. Looking at this list and trying to recall what I've actually enjoyed from it: the Holiday Special has Kurt Busiek's Metoxo the Lava Man story; the Cyclops and Phoenix miniseries has some lovely art; and Punisher: Empty Quarter is... not bad, as such things go, and Mike Baron's final Punisher story to date.
