Walked along the boulevard, the boulevard of friends
All those mild mannered friends I've got
They're careless and they fall down
All over the place, all over town
I don't want them talking to me 'Cause I'm leaving it, leaving it, leaving it up to you
Have to leave it, leave it, leave it up to you All the buildings are breaking down
Like the whispering in your heart
And it's sordid how life goes on
When I could take you apart
And if you give me half a chance
I'd do it now, I'd do it now, right now, you fascist
I know we could all feel safe like Sharon Tate
We could give it all up, we could give, give, give it all up
And the newspapers, oh the newspapers
They'd be listening, listening to me giving it to you
And the radio, what about the radios?
They'd be listening to me giving it to you Right mama, damn right mama I hear hissing, I hear hissing in the distance
I hear the tanks crawling
They're crawling over the hill, they're crawling over the hill
Like rattlesnakes in the desert sun
They're blistering up my spell, they're blistering it up
They're breaking it up, they're breaking up my spell
And what else is there, what else have I got?
What else have I got but that spell? Ah, leaving it, leaving it, I'm leaving it up to you
Leaving it, leaving it, leaving it up to you
Leaving it, leaving it, leaving it in the cloakroom for you I've got to give it up, I've got to give it up, give it up
Up, up, give it up I can't take it.

A new Guitar Hero game is coming out soon (for the PS2 exclusively! take that, next gen!) and it's going to feature.... Holy Diver! It's got an 80s themed soundtrack and it looks like it will focus more on hair metal (Ratt's Round and Round!) than Europop, although it does have some Flock of Seagulls and Bow Wow Wow. However, it still falls into the category of "not enough Dio". Never enough Dio.

He Took Her To A Movie by Ladytronhe met her in the fall, he took her to a movie
and when they'd done it all, he took her to a movie
and from the hospital, he took her to a movie
but so did I and when her heart was sad, he took her to a movie
she's all he's ever had, he took her to a movie
and should their love turn bad, he took her to a movie
but so did I I think she's been alone, he took her to a movie
when they cut off the phone, he took her to a movie
and when her cover's blown, he took her to a movie
but so did I there's nothing on TV, he took her to a movie
but she's the one for me, he took her to a movie
we're at number three, he took her to a movie
but so did I

Mike's got a Skelly Gang jam (ExcelLent Jam noodles) up on his Mixed Meteor site. Go check it out, and also see his blog for a picture from our outdoor gig a few weekends ago, and a real-life Petey Piranha plant.

Well, sort of. You may have noticed the new JukeboxMonkey feature here on our site (now you can listen to all of my various music projects while you read our fabulous archives!) (and you can thank min for not letting me have the music just start up whenever you come to the site) and i've also replaced the sad links to individual mp3 files on our music pages with a nice flash player (xspf). In the process of doing all this, i've unearthed a lost classic. It's my "cover" of Schubert's 8th Symphony. It's on my music page (first song). Please go check it out!
